Goal
This personal project explored the visual language of sports culture through a series of posters centered around the idea of “the grind” - a concept often associated with discipline, repetition, and relentless effort in athletic performance.
The challenge was to translate the intensity and energy of sports into striking static visuals that feel dynamic, expressive, and emotionally engaging. The objective was to experiment with composition, typography, and visual hierarchy to create posters that capture motion, power, and mindset within a still format.
My Role
I independently conceptualized and designed the entire poster series. This included developing the creative direction, selecting imagery, and crafting compositions that balance boldness with clarity.
My focus was on pushing visual experimentation - playing with scale, contrast, and typography to evoke movement and intensity while maintaining a cohesive style across the series.
Tools Used
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
Final Output
The final outcome is a series of high-impact sports posters that visually communicate themes of perseverance, energy, and discipline. The project showcases my ability to create compelling static visuals with strong conceptual backing, while also experimenting with layout, typography, and visual storytelling within the sports design space.
